It seems that the 70+ kg that I heard about was actually Tan Howe Liang's age...
He's 75 this year.
He lifted a weight of 115 kg and 155 kg in snatch and some other category. You'd have to refer to today's Sports section page 33 or 34 (I forgot which, but I have the newspaper clippings) for more details.
Oh, and my parents got me a new watch today and gave it to me after ballet class.
The watch, encased in emerald green,
The black skin shone within.
Gold words glittered on the package,
But what's inside worthed more than cleavage.
To Kovan to search for an accessary,
For me, but I wonder the hurry.
One kid, who needed to tell time,
For her, her parents spent more than a dime.
The portable time, now kept by my side,
Proudly gazing over the table.
My fingers fly over the key board,
And no longer needed shaking.
Whew. That was hard work.
Btw, the 'shaking' part refers to the neccessary action of literally shaking my previous watch which runs on kinetic energy. The watch kinda stopped after a while, even though I shook it like mad. I think the battery ran out, well, it was bought from China, so the quality's supposed to be lousy.
Also, the colour on the previous watch began to wear to grey.
But I still liked that watch, because it only has numbers 12 and 6, glows in the dark, and bears all 3 of my favourite colours, red, white and black.
It's sitting to the left of my keyboard right now. I got it because I lost my previous watch in an amusement park in China when I went there for the holidays. The previous watch was a blue digital one, which had a rectangular face.
That watch was pretty cool, and I regret losing it a lot, because it was not even half a year old. The watch that just passed on was almost 8 months old.
Well, pretty good for a watch made in China.
Anyway, gotta go. Need to chiong Lit. PT and go to sleep cuz' tomorrow got church.
