5 Tips to Survive in RGS Class 110 '08

1) LEARN FRENCH!!!
French is essential to survive among registers 17, 19, and 20.
Scenario: You are 110's Class Chairperson, who is being accused of liking 2 boys who go by the names of GSG (Vert Lunettes Garçon) and er...someone whose name I shall not reveal. No. 17, 19, and 20 enjoy teasing you about this by speaking in French. A language which you do not understand.
Result: You are DEAD.

2) BE A NERD
Being a nerd is the first step to keeping up with the class.
Scenario: The nerds, namely registers 5, 6, 20, and 28, use uber advanced words that even most people don't understand. Lessons fly past us like cheetahs racing for the last piece of meat. Basically they were the only ones who could actually keep up with the lessons and get good grades at the same time. You're lost if you're not on the same page as they are when doing homework.
Result: You FAIL at your exams AND social life.

3) LIKE CONFLICTING SCHEDULES
Actually this applies to the whole school.
Scenario: For example you are no. 20. You have Squash on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. You have 3rd lang. on Tuesday and Thurday. Your schedule on Thursday is cramped.
Result: You are TORN between the choices.

4) BE GOOD FRIENDS WITH THE SLS
They might actually let you off or go easy on you if you break the rules.
Scenario: It is after PE and you don't feel like changing immediately. I wonder what happens if a super strict prefect walks past...would you get booked? You take off your belt for less than 15 minutes. Would you get booked? Your handphone is out but switched off. Would you get booked?
Result: You get BOOKED if the prefect doesn't read the rules properly.

5) HAVE THE ABILITY TO WITHSTAND HEAT AND HARSH MOVEMENTS
You'll pretty much kill yourself if you don't have the stamina.
Scenario: One of the air-cons don't seem to work. The projector is tempremental. The temperature in the classroom is warm, almost hot. The excess travelling due to a non-existant working projector.
Result: You sweat like CRAP.

110 AEEEEEEEEEEE!

Yay.

We just merged with 1I (stands for 1...Inspiration?) from RI so now we're officially under the legion of 110I.

Yay.

I'm being spastic and retarded. Ignore me.

We have a blog called 100% Inspiration.

I shall link the blog from this one.

Yay.

Begins to feel really retarded due to failing of Chinese and English revision.

Let's go Raffles lets go!

Today I went for my first Support School Activity (SSA) ever!

B Division Table Tennis Women Finals.

WE WON!!!

And we happened to meet RJC playing their A Division Table Tennis Men and Women Finals against Hwa Chong Junior College there at the Toa Payoh stadium.

They won the finals for both men and women (I think) and they ran over the temporary barriers and hugged each other...sheesh.

I only saw the guys hug though (eww, how disturbing), I didn't see the girls.

But anyway.

RGSS B Division Table Tennis Women Finals won Cedar Girls 3 games to 2.

Game 1: Singles 3
Lost

Game 2: Doubles 2
WON!!!

Game 3: Singles 2
Lost 2 sets to 3

Game 4: Doubles 1
WON!!!

Game 5: Singles 1
WON!!! In fact, a winning streak. Won 3 sets all in a row.

YAY!!! Singles 1 ended, the Table Tennis team of RGSS ran over the blue temporary barrier and glomped the Singles 1 player, and all that I saw was a huge bunch of girls clad in black huddling together. I think the Singles 1 player got buried alive.

On a whole, our Singles is really bad, and our Doubles is fairly good.

Actually, I had though we would lose sadly after being beaten at Singles 2...

MAXIMUM RIDE: THE FINAL WARNING

YES!

Wow. These few days I've found a lot to rejoice about.

So.

MAX RIDE 4 IS OUT IN POPULAR ALREADY!

I just realized that yesterday when I went to Popular the 3rd time in the span of 31 days just to see if Max Ride has reached Popular or not.

I went to search the whole Popular, conviniently missing the section of 'Best Sellers' and 'New Arrivals'. Only when I depressingly went to the counter and admitted defeat did I spot the book.

*Eyes start shimmering and shining in anime style*

So just before my mother paid for the stuff we bought (some assessment books for my sister and a drawing book for me), I quickly and dramatically whisked a Max Ride 4 book from the 'New Arrivals' section and plonked it in front of my mother.

*Floats in bliss and euphoria amidst dark and depressing black background*

So I bought it! And here I am, finished reading the book.

Basically, it's a cool book that brings up the topic of Global Warming, waking us up from the 'all year round I can tan myself in the sun even in Antartica' reverie.

It makes us aware that the world is in fact heating up and humans are killing themselves through Global Warming. Even though the book is about Global Warming, it is still cool!!!

Like all the other Max Ride books, they bet abducted somewhere and somehow, this time, they actually were whisked into a hurricane...

Cool.

Well, as cool as being beaten like egg whites in a Category 5 hurricane with winds moving at more than 155 miles an hour can get, that is.

So...

READ THIS BOOK AND BE AWARE OF THE CONSEQUENCES OF GLOBAL WARMING TODAY! You can borrow it from me.*

*Terms and Conditions apply.
1) You must not be my sister.
2) You must promise not to hurt the book in anyway possible, even making it feel bad is out of the question.
3) You must be someone I know.

GOOOOOOOOOOOld!

I GOT GOLD FOR NAPHA 4 YEARS IN A ROW!!!

YES!!!

This year, I'm 13.

Incline Pull Ups
B: 16 (I did 17 but Mr. Chia (NCC Air's Lieutenant or something) decided not to count the last...like last year...so I got a B for this 2 times in a row...sad...)
Shuttle Run
C: 11.4 seconds (I could have gotten an A if I hadn't slipped that much...)
Sit Ups
A: 35 (1 less than last year...)
Standing Board Jump
A: 179cm (Woots! I usually suck at this...this is the furthest I've ever jumped...)
Sit and Reach
A: 45cm (That's the highest I've EVER gotten...)
2.4 Kilometers Run
B: 15:28 minutes:seconds (OMG!!! Just 2 seconds slower and I got a C!)

Total
26 pts
Award
Gold

YES!!!

I am SO happy. I nearly scored only 25!

YES!!!

Anyway.

I barely perspired during the 2.4km run even though it was blasting hot even at 1700-1730.

But when I walked home after cooling down in bus 105 (which came the moment I stepped into the bus stop [so fortunate!]) and after all my perspiration had evaporated, I was sweating more than I had in the 2.4 run in total.

Wow.

Sugoi desu. (It is amazing)

So...

Today D&T was FUN! We did lots of hands on, soldering the alloys onto our integrated cricuit chip (IC chip) and Sora and I had lots of fun experimenting on the songs in our 16 Melody Player; the perfect instrument to send someone to sleep...cuz' it's so boring.

But anyway, the purpose of mine was SUPPOSED to send someone to sleep like it was a lullaby, so it's not a problem.

D&T ROX.

Seriously.

This is so cool.

What's Your Blog Wanted For?

Okay...what's that?

yes, Yes, YES!!!

I found out my ballet results today.

YES!

I passed my Grade 5 ballet exam with distinction!!!

YES!

Well, I got 86/100, distinction is 80/100, so I suppose I'm not that good...

BUT

It's my first distinction in...like...3 or 4 years!

YES!

Er...sorry for the ego.

ALTHOUGH

I bet that Grace got higher than me, so sad.

BUT

That's expected. She ALWAYS gets higher than me.

ANYWAY

Only 2 people came for ballet lesson today.

Me.

AND

Xin Hui, who got 84/100...

STILL

My sister got 38/50, which means that she's 2 marks away from distinction which is a 40/50.

YES!

I beat her, and the exam she took was a Grade 4 one.

BUT

For Grade 4, I got only 37...

SO

I lost to her in terms of Grade...

BUT

I won her in terms of the year!!!

YES!

So, er, if anyone needs proof that I take ballet...

READ THIS POST RIGHT NOW!!!

And if you want further proof, request for my results thingy, whatever the thing that the examiner writes on while she examines my work is called.

AND

I don't have my certificate yet.

YES!

I still won my sister!

YES!

Er, I think I'd stop doing this now.

ANYWAY

ORA was fun. Sorta. Kinda. I repeat.

IT

WAS

FUN

Ha, today we met GSG. Ashie's (not so) secret crush whom a certain someone (who is not Ash or yours truly) has SMSed for over 75 times. Wow.

Say it with me.

WOW.

Ashie said he was terrible looking.

BUT

I think his looks are mediocre. Sorta. Kinda.

And I'll leave it to the certain someone to decide that.

ANYWAY

GSG called the certain someone 'chio' (that's how you spell it, right?) through SMS. Today was the first time they met...

AND

I was trying to convince the certain someone to walk up to GSG and say hi.

ANYWAY

I custom made a green (as in environmentally friendly) bag at 112's stall for $3. It's quite cheap, to me, that is.

SO

I wrote 'I AM NOT MAS SALAMAT' on one side.

I KNOW

I spelt 'SALAMAT' wrongly. I only just realized that about 15-30 minutes ago which was hours after I came back from the ORA at 1245 around there.

SO

On the other side, I drew my 2 of my favourite band's (Linkin Park) many logos on it.

1. The round logo

2. The logo which actually reads "LINKIN PARK" but looks Japanese

YAY YAY! WADDLE WON THE SPORTS FEST!

Yippee!

Waddle was champion for the sports fest!
And in case you're wondering, I'm in Waddle house.

Rachel told me that some ex-Rosythian guy from RI told her that Baley was champion in sports fest. Baley is yellow.
So, now we tie with Baley from RI!!!

The order:

Champion: WADDLE!!! (Yellow)
Runner-up: Richirdson (Blue)
Second runner-up: Hadley (Purple)
4th (What do you call it?): Buckle (Green)
5th (Name?!): Tarbet (Red)

Anyway, we also won the banner design competition, although I think Richirdson's an Buckle's were better...by loads.

Saa, it goes so show how large the generation gap between us and the teachers is.

Themes:
Wadde: Waddle Weatherworks
Richirdson: Richirdson Reloaded
Hadley: Hadley Hairspray
Buckle: Buckle and Beyond
Tarbet: Tarbet Theatre

Mascots were a bit hilarious
Waddle: Waddle Duck (Wearing poncho hood, and sunglasses)
Richirdson: Spy with blue skin
Hadley: Monkey with a really exaggerated hairstyle
Buckle: Some person in a space suit who looked like Buzz Lightyear
Tarbet: The Phantom of the Opera...

Whee! My report is complete. Please feel free to pop by Rachel(1)'s house anytime to check on her sore throat due to extensive cheering that we all did (Except for Hadley. They didn't even cheer when they got first for some event that I don't remember.)

Er, on second thoughts, don't. I don't think she'd like thirty people (Ferrero: Not including me, of course, I'm too mature for that. Some Random Person: (Conks Ferrero on head) Yeah right.) appearing out of nowhere to in front of her house door holding a bunch of get well cards and flowers very much.

Ahem. Thank you for wasting your time here. You may leave now
