Teacher's Day 2008

Ooh. It sucks.

Today we celebrated teacher's day, and before I plunge into a long summary of my day, I'll restrain myself.

Anyway, 110 was supposed to watch the 'concert' from the 3rd floor of D block.

I was standing at an area, the right one of the two railing area's that we have. Then some Tarbet person from 109 came and stood at the divider.

Then I decided to take a drink from the water cooler. Rachel and Moira came with me, so we asked Zann to help us 'chop' the place. The 3rd floor didn't have a water cooler at the end nearer to the canteen, so we went down to the 3rd floor.

When we came back, a Tarbet person was standing at my place. I tried to squeeze through. I asked her to go back to her place at the Tarber/109 area, she said they only have one railing space, and say that we have 2, so it's not fair so she went ahead and took our place.

If she had asked nicely, I may have said yes, but she was like so stuck up I was so tempted to shove and kick her.

But I didn't. Self-control.

Then I decided to go futher down the corrider to search for a place where I can watch the ceremony WITHOUT that stuck up I'm-always-correct-even-though-I-stole-someone's-space-without-permission girl.

When I moved back to untangle myself from the mob of annoying girls from 109, I saw that beyond the pillar, there was another section that they took for themselves, and what's more, only about 3 or 4 girls were there.

I wanted to screm at her: "YOUR FREAKING CLASS ALSO HAS 2 AREAS, YOU MORON! GET OUT OF MY SPACE! YOU JUST MADE MY CLASS LOSE ABOUT 1/10 OF ITS TOTAL SPACE!

Before that, she said that Moira should take her bag off the railing to leave more space (probably for her friends...).

ARGH! I can't stand her.

It's like I'm a black and she's a white, even though she's clearly in the wrong, I just have to give in to her.

So I went to the other end of the group and found a whole set of unoccupied railings. I decided to sit on the railing. Rachel joined me soon after. YT was just beside us, along with ZB.

We had quite a great view, until the hosts interrupted the 'Spice Girls' (more specifically, the house captains) to tell us to get off the railings. Then the whole of the Amphi stared at us.

It was unnerving.

After that, Rachel, ZB and I went to ZB's house cuz' we can only go to Rosyth at 13:30. We took 132, then 265. We waited about 20 minutes for 265. What lousy service.Oh oh! When I sat 132, it was the 2nd time ever I'm sitting on a double decker bus!

Er, after that, when we reached ZB's house, I found out that ZB's grandmother was going to cook lunch for us, so we went up to ZB's room and slacked. ZB watched a little of 'Pursuit of Happyness', and I went and reread the Guiniss Book of World Records 2004.

When we got bored, we decided to play a modified 'scissor paper stone' game. We started at the top of the stairs, then if we win the others, we get to 'advance' one step downward.

The person who reaches the foot of the stairs first gets to do whatever she wants with ZB's computer/laptop.

Rachel won, so she went to Orisinal to play that squirrel game I found during ICT this week.

Then lunch came at 11:30.

It was macaroni in soup with meat.

There was shallad too, but I prefered it without the shallad. I took at most half the time ZB and Rachel took to eat their food. When I finished, I decided to stuff myself with shallad.

I took at least 5 spoonfuls. We also had a packet of Pokka Green Tea each.

Then I ate some biscuits. ZB and Rachel wanted to play the piano, so I went up and used ZB's computer for purposes related to manga.

Then at 12:30, we left the house to go to Rosyth.

I won't describe the trip.

When we got to Rosyth, we found out that not only were we confined to the first floor, we were doomed to stay only in the IBC, and the teachers weren't there too! So lame. I lodged a complain on the whiteboard which we were supposed to write dedications or some nonsense to the teachers.

Then I went back at 14:00.

Reached home uneventfully by 159 at 14:15.
