Classmate Appreciation Day

Today during CLE, while we were supposed to have a class party, Miss Chen turned it into a 'Classmate Appreciation Day', where you have the gift you brought, and you give it to a classmate whom you appreciate. You must state the reasons too.

I was supposed to be second, immediately after Han Jun, but since I didn't know who to appreciate, I passed. I didn't bring a gift anyway. I had Art Club until 18:30 yesterday, and I got home at 19:30 thereabout.

So we went one. Moira appreciated Rachel, (someone whom I don't remember) and I. YAY! I got appreciated. She gave me a bear dressed like a ladybug...

I like the material it was made of!

Then after quite a while, Zann's turn came. She appreciated me, commenting that I didn't blow up when she criticized my drawings. =D

She gave me what looked like a friendship band made of knots of yellow, orange and red strings. It looked cool, I could never even dream of making something like that.

Rachel (1)'s turn came not long after. She appreciated Anabelle (first person's name to leave her lips, and I was like 'YES!', I guessed correct), me and Moira. She gave Anabelle a notebook (or what I THINK is a notebook), decided that Moira already had too many postcards and gave them to me while the small pack of Famous Amos cookies went to Moira.

Man. Even though I like food and notebooks a lot and don't find the postcards practical, they were a gift of appreciation, so they're precious!

I never thought I'll have so many people appreciate me! I thought max was 1. Well, that is, not taking into consideration who was actually in the class.

I was last. I said I appreciated Rachel (1), Moira and Zann. It was not until quite a while later that I realized I was only returning the favour. I intended to give the marshmallows (with Hello Kitty pictures...), but was short of one, so Miss Chen gave me a pack of colourful gummy sweets, which I gave to Rachel (1). I allowed her to pick cuz' she's the most appreciated.

Really, the longest lasting friendship I had (with terms and conditions applying) was 2 years. So I was really happy that the particular friendship lasted for 4.

I gave the marshmallows to Moira and Zann each. They both helped me adapt to the school. I gorged on the food (more specifically, chips), and when it came to lunch, I had to throw away about a fourth of the food, including a fifth of a hash brown... I really wanted to cry...
