Today we started on a dance. Cha-cha, more specifically.
I didn't like the fact that I was the female partner and that Rachel (2) was the lead... I hate being passive...
Anyway, the steps were kind of easy, but when direction and hands and coordination with the partner is included, I think it'd be safe to say I ran out of juice.
After that was lunch then Chem. Mrs Tay returned us our FAs today. I got a 35.5/40. =D I think she returned it a while ago before today...
Uh, so today I finally participated in one competition (which I hope will satisfy 1/2 of the Art Club's requirement) and am trying to find out how to fill in the registration form for another.
The competition that I participated in was the 2010 Singapore Youth Olympic Games Logo Design Competition. It was just some random nonsense I came up with on the bus home 2 days ago at around 19:15.
The second competition, which I hope I'll be able to figure out how to fill in the form before the deadline (which is in freaking 3 days time!), is Animania. The category that I'll be participating in is the Manga Art/Series competition.
I'll have to come up with a storyline, and draw out a manga no less than 10 pages and no more than 20 pages long. The submission of the work is 1 December 2008.
Oh yeah, today we got back our Si Han and Kou Shi marks. If each holds an equal share in marks, then my percentage will be 57%.
If it is individual, then my percentage for the Si Han is 45% and my percentage for the Kou Shi is 70%.
YAY!
I improved. During mid year, I failed the paper with 40%.
