WANTED FOR THE TRASHY LOVE of an ILLEGAL CRAB

$2900

What's Your Blog Wanted For?

Okay...what's that?

yes, Yes, YES!!!

I found out my ballet results today.

YES!

I passed my Grade 5 ballet exam with distinction!!!

YES!

Well, I got 86/100, distinction is 80/100, so I suppose I'm not that good...

BUT

It's my first distinction in...like...3 or 4 years!

YES!

Er...sorry for the ego.

ALTHOUGH

I bet that Grace got higher than me, so sad.

BUT

That's expected. She ALWAYS gets higher than me.

ANYWAY

Only 2 people came for ballet lesson today.

Me.

AND

Xin Hui, who got 84/100...

STILL

My sister got 38/50, which means that she's 2 marks away from distinction which is a 40/50.

YES!

I beat her, and the exam she took was a Grade 4 one.

BUT

For Grade 4, I got only 37...

SO

I lost to her in terms of Grade...

BUT

I won her in terms of the year!!!

YES!

So, er, if anyone needs proof that I take ballet...

READ THIS POST RIGHT NOW!!!

And if you want further proof, request for my results thingy, whatever the thing that the examiner writes on while she examines my work is called.

AND

I don't have my certificate yet.

YES!

I still won my sister!

YES!

Er, I think I'd stop doing this now.

ANYWAY

ORA was fun. Sorta. Kinda. I repeat.

IT

WAS

FUN

Ha, today we met GSG. Ashie's (not so) secret crush whom a certain someone (who is not Ash or yours truly) has SMSed for over 75 times. Wow.

Say it with me.

WOW.

Ashie said he was terrible looking.

BUT

I think his looks are mediocre. Sorta. Kinda.

And I'll leave it to the certain someone to decide that.

ANYWAY

GSG called the certain someone 'chio' (that's how you spell it, right?) through SMS. Today was the first time they met...

AND

I was trying to convince the certain someone to walk up to GSG and say hi.

ANYWAY

I custom made a green (as in environmentally friendly) bag at 112's stall for $3. It's quite cheap, to me, that is.

SO

I wrote 'I AM NOT MAS SALAMAT' on one side.

I KNOW

I spelt 'SALAMAT' wrongly. I only just realized that about 15-30 minutes ago which was hours after I came back from the ORA at 1245 around there.

SO

On the other side, I drew my 2 of my favourite band's (Linkin Park) many logos on it.

1. The round logo

2. The logo which actually reads "LINKIN PARK" but looks Japanese

YAY YAY! WADDLE WON THE SPORTS FEST!

Yippee!

Waddle was champion for the sports fest!
And in case you're wondering, I'm in Waddle house.

Rachel told me that some ex-Rosythian guy from RI told her that Baley was champion in sports fest. Baley is yellow.
So, now we tie with Baley from RI!!!

The order:

Champion: WADDLE!!! (Yellow)
Runner-up: Richirdson (Blue)
Second runner-up: Hadley (Purple)
4th (What do you call it?): Buckle (Green)
5th (Name?!): Tarbet (Red)

Anyway, we also won the banner design competition, although I think Richirdson's an Buckle's were better...by loads.

Saa, it goes so show how large the generation gap between us and the teachers is.

Themes:
Wadde: Waddle Weatherworks
Richirdson: Richirdson Reloaded
Hadley: Hadley Hairspray
Buckle: Buckle and Beyond
Tarbet: Tarbet Theatre

Mascots were a bit hilarious
Waddle: Waddle Duck (Wearing poncho hood, and sunglasses)
Richirdson: Spy with blue skin
Hadley: Monkey with a really exaggerated hairstyle
Buckle: Some person in a space suit who looked like Buzz Lightyear
Tarbet: The Phantom of the Opera...

Whee! My report is complete. Please feel free to pop by Rachel(1)'s house anytime to check on her sore throat due to extensive cheering that we all did (Except for Hadley. They didn't even cheer when they got first for some event that I don't remember.)

Er, on second thoughts, don't. I don't think she'd like thirty people (Ferrero: Not including me, of course, I'm too mature for that. Some Random Person: (Conks Ferrero on head) Yeah right.) appearing out of nowhere to in front of her house door holding a bunch of get well cards and flowers very much.

Ahem. Thank you for wasting your time here. You may leave now

ALL THOSE WHO COME HERE HAVE TO READ THIS!

Okay, this is weird.

SICK GUY CALLED JOVYN ON MSN!

If anyone receives some invitation indicating that he/she wants to be your contact, and the email address goes something like or something along those lines, DO NOT ACCEPT.

That person is a sick idiot. Probably a guy.

He says stuff like "I love you" and his MSN font is Ravie, I think.

If you actually accept his invite and have a decent conversation with him without him going "I love you" or "What's your name" or "Are you a boy or a girl" or "Are you a child or an adult", congrats.

That guy is clearly a lecher. *Shudders*

If you have a conversation with him and you tell him you're gonna block him, he goes "f*** you". Then you go and delete this contact to avoid further misleading which would probably end up in you being kidnapped for some ransom money.

In a last ditch attempt to get you to not block him (you should delete him secretly), he'll keep repeating "I love you" and "Sexy body" (bleh). Eww! Gross.

The moment you irritate him (and spoil his plans, ha!), he starts cussing.

Like when he asks for your name, give your nickname. Then he asks again what is your name. Say that you're only an acquaintance (or even less) and that you'd rather stick to your nickname.

Then when you ask him how he got your email address, he'll say I got it from a friend, or some crack pot story like that. Probably didn't expect you to put up a resistance, ha!

He says his name is Jovyn.

When he asks for your gender or age, tell him it's none of his business and that he should keep his filthy nose out of that.

He should be wondering (and probably doubting) whether you'd be a vulnerable and good prey to pick on and lure out for ransom (or maybe for some...ahem...sexual intercourse. Don't make me say that again) by then.

Then once he gets you hooked to the whole "I love you" thing and makes you feel special, he'll make a move and reveal his ulterior motive! Mua ha ha ha ha!

*Quickly changes back to serious face*

Sa, don't be tricked. Stay away from this guy. Or, er, sick girl.

Don't be fooled.

Yudan sezu ni ikou. Roughly translated into "Let's not get careless". =D From Prince of tennis!

Woots!

Okay, I've completed Physics PT!! YAY!

Someone pat my back!

But then again, somebody kill me. The video quality is like crap lah, but I hope Mrs. Teo will understand! =D You can't even hear me talking.

So anyway, I'm deciding to finally comtinue with the drawing of the Condo Heroes!! Fans! Cheer for me!

Ahem. Down to serious matters. AY, I've continued drawing. Can you tell me what to do next?

Anyway, today was my first ballet lessons in 3 weeks! I'm starting Intermediate Foundation (my teacher calls it "Majors Level") and today was the first lesson! I just realized that I need a lot of strength built up in muscles IN THE CORRECT PLACES.

Er, I'm dead. My muscles are in my stomach (a little), arms and legs, although the thigh looks more like fats when not in use. I have to hold my hand in one position for at least half a minute, have a 1 second rest, and repeat this cycle about 7 more times.

DIEEEEEE!

Everybody scream with me! DIEEEEEEE!

Ah. I feel better.

I'm tryin' to draw at least 50 random people from each gender, so far I've got 5 guys and 4 girls... ah. Lots more to go.

Ja. I'd better work on the CH (Condo Heroes) now.

EASTER!!! is over

Man, that post title sucked. Still.

Should I change my blog picture? I mean, it's been sittin' there and layin' eggs for at least 3 months now.

Anyway, MAXIMUM RIDE: THE FINAL WARNING is supposed to be out by 17th March. Well, in some countries, at least. When I went to Popular to check today, they said the stocks haven't arrived yet. What the heck. It's been 6 days already.

So ah, today, there's no Ignyte (youth service at Trinity Christian Centre@ Payar Lebar) so I had to join the adult service. I shall now spread something interesting.

To all Christians out there!!!

The pastor said that the Jews had a hard time accepting Jesus as their lord and saviour because their mindset was like: People nailed on the cross are punished and cursed by God, so they find it very hard to believe that Jesus was going to deliver them from the Romans.

The pastor said, "To show you what the Jews felt, fix your eyes on the screens (or something like that)."

Mas Salamat's face flashed on the screens.

Are you laughing right now?

"This is your saviour," he told us. "He will deliver you from evil and the devil."

Are you laughing even harder right now?

=F wow. it looks like a vampire...

Tomorrow's gonna be the worst day of my life.

Ballet exam-Check
Geog homework-Check
EL homework-Check
私函 (erm, that's how it's written, right?)-Not done
Piano Theory exam-Not done

Let me just die.

People keep contacting me on the format of the si han, but even I also don't know.

And, uh, I'm so gonna fail my Theory Exam!
< /randomness >

Ballet exam was fine, but then I so totally flunked my balance. I can't do pirouettes, I can't do my releves on one foot properly, I can't do attitude derriere and my grand battement either, all because my balance went haywire during the exam and now I'm so sure I failed! Erm, ignore the sudden display of emotion. =D

And I'm not even sure if you guys know how to pronounce those terms.

Pirouette: pee-row-at
Releve: rare-le-vei
Derriere: dare-ree-air
Grand: grond
Battement: bat-mont

These are all French.

XP

My theory exam is tormorrow and I'm so sure I'm gonna flunk it like crazy.

DIE!

Jaz, I'll say it once and I won't say it again.

TAKE AWAY ALL THE ALERTS ON YOUR BLOG! IT'S GONNA FRY EVERYONE'S HEAD! At most just leave it at 1 round. Don't double it. The next time I go there, I'll press enter all throughout.

I got my 1st ever booking!

Okay, normally, it's not what you'd celebrate and tell the whole world about.

I just forgot to wear my stupid freakin' name tag and they booked me. No fair. It's not my problem that my memory is like crap lah!

Today's History was as crap as my memory. ARGH! I hate SAs.

Today we also had EL Lit FA. I filled one whole piece of paper with what Regina called 'cursive writing'. Cursive meh? It was more of slanted...

So that sucked too.

Today we received Tribune's March magazine or tabloid, whatever it is. It's so cool! You don't know how funny some of the articles can be.

e.g.
Friend:o.0 OK...
What She Means: You need therapy. As soon as possible.

And there's one under 'how to keep a secret'.

'1: There's always the classic: taping your mouth shut and knocking yourself unconscious.'

So funny! lol! If only you guys (if you're not from RGSS) could read it! Cracked my sides and now I'll probably have a hard time stitching it back up.

Anyway, did I mention how much I love notebooks? The type which you write or pen down some stuff in?

I just got a new one today even though I have at least 10 which I haven't finished using yet. And it's some Motorola one with such a funky design. Its design was so cool that I decided to ignore what little pink there was on the cover page.

You should see the pages inside! They're so cool!

School holidays starts from today, and there's no house prac. or PSL session tomorrow so I can sleep late! Yay!

P.S. The PSLs lectured us today for stalking. It's not my problem. Cough cough (insert a stalker's name from class 110 of year'08) cough cough. I didn't even bother looking at them twice! Actually, I looked at them many times, but only during PSL sessions! Outside that, I hardly ever see them so I don't care.

Permission SLIPs and Field TRIPs

Ah, those who have read Fang's blog (mentioned in Maximum Ride: Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports) would understand what I was saying. Anyway, I'll be so damned. I signed up to go for the OmniMax show thingy tomorrow but I didn't receive the form, so now I'm stuck here with no form, and thus no means of going to watch the show. Crap.

Which is pretty much a HUGE and MASSIVE understatement.

AND I HAVEN"T DONE MY 小练笔 YET! ARGH!

And I still have a Condo Heroes comic book to update, then I'll send if off packing to it's other co-creator...the infamous CHARON! Or Tan An Yan, or An Yan, or AY, or Onion. Your choice.

Sa, I think she's going to kill me if I don't give it to her by the start of the new term two weeks later, but in the March holidays, I have 1 ballet exam to attend, and 1 piano theory too!

Such an inconvenience that no one believes that I do ballet, and the fact that I'm in Grade 5 and I passed Grade 4 with Merit, just 3 marks below Distinction. =F (Sense the sarcasm) Mrs. Abbas even asked me to do a pirouette IN the NEEDLEWORK room.

Heck?

I'm supposed to spin around on my toes in school shoes and a pinafore laden with a heavy wallet and a 4 year-old handphone?

Hell no!

But you guys still can't ever see me dance, geddit?

=D

And you're supposed to reply: Yes, geddit. And salute or kowtow to me as if I were your kami-sama (uh, that's God)! Mua ha ha ha ha ha!

Great, now I'm blesphamising. Oh, sometimes I wish I could just shut my trap and leave it there.

Saka-chan, for the last time, I am NOT telling you how much I got for Math SA

So, as the title says, Saka-Chan, a.k.a. Poh Hui Xian, a.k.a. Fish, a.k.a. Poison (erm, how do you spell it?), a.k.a. Fisch (and not to forget Vivian) pestered me for my SA marks.

Anyone who knows it, zip your mouths shut, lock it tight, and throw away the key.

Now, when that is done...

TERRORIST ALERT!!!

I just saw that on the news. I am so slow.

Anyway, why they go and protect SCGS (Singapore Chinese Girls School) and not RGS? A prestigious girls school with young girls brimming full of promise and hope for the nation that one more tiny drop would tip the scale?

WHY?

Okay, I'm lying. I am not prestigious and I am not brimming with promise and hope for the nation. Heck, I'm not even half full of promise and hope for anything!

So, uh, what now? We have Chinese Compo tomorrow, I don't care a thing about passing or failing it. In fact, if I even get a 30 or above, I'd be whooping for joy (sense the sarcasm in the air...breath it in, exhale it out...).

But who cares. Well, I do care whether I get good grades or not, but I can't help it if I'm THAT bad at Chinese, right? Makes me wonder why I'm in the school I am in in the first place...

Handed up Geog yesterday and was WAY relieved. It's finally over!!! But then, here comes my Physics teacher spoiling all the fun by giving us a Formative Assessment (I think that's what it is, if not, it's a Creative Assignment.

Then we still need to design an interesting Math game and do some data thingy for RS.

ARGH!!!

Still.

I have to persevere and keep on living!

さ、じゃね!(It reads: 'Well, bye!')

(Recently, I'm a little gung-ho about Jap, do forgive me)

LP ROX MY SOX!

THIS IS SO COOL!

I just bought this black Linkin Park t-shirt on Sunday and it rawks!

Anway, I'm watching the Japanese version of the show, which has English subtitles. =D

I couldn't find the English one. But anyway, I'm learning Jap on the way!

School...is IN

Man, school sux.

It's only really started less than a week ago and I'm behind already!

1)I don't have a freaking CCA. =D
2)I haven't done my Chinese homework yet.
3)I don't know why I'm watching/listening to Danny Phantom now.
4)I saw my kindergarten friend, Zhang Rui (111) in RGS, but she doesn't know me...grr.
5)Dance Trials sucked. Got into round 2 and kinda forgot the dance that they showed us which we had to perform.
6)You know trials for performing arts CCA that has to du with singing, or playing an instrument, they make you sing scales and appegios?

Danny Phantom Rox!

Wow. Random.

Saturday, 5 January 2008

RGS is the pits

Orientation in RGS isn't even over yet! We still have one more week!

Just wondering , are you boys in RI done with orientation already?

We had to sit lectures, after lectures, after lectures, on CCA, Habits of Minds, CCA again, RGS History, CCA again, RGS History again, you know how boring that can get?

AND we still have another week to go! I just wish we'd start lessons right away!

And...uh...I think it was the two VPs (Vice-Principals) who interviewed me. Yikes! And after the way I described them after I came back fromt the interview...well, crap.

Then there's our badge and name tag. They're not gonna be given out until the 10th, which is...like, 5 days away.

And the CCA trials are going to be the death of me.

If I change one CCA trial, it'll clash with another, so I just had to live with one CCA one day. Now isn't that fun.

I have Choir Trials on the 8th.

Then Red Cross on the 9th.

After that Guitar on the 14th.

Followed by Dance on the 15th.

Next, Shooting on the 16th

The day after, English Drama on the 17th.

Finally, Art & Craft on the 23rd.

And last but not least, Band on the 24th.

And there you have my jam packed schedule. And I still have to find two songs of contrasting styles to sing for Choir Trials!

So far I've picked "Untitled", but I can't decide on the next one. Maybe I should pick "Dirty Little Secret". You know, contrasting styles. Okay, after a while, maybe I'll do with "I'd Do Anything" instead of "Dirty Little Secret".

Anyway, House Prac. was today and I'm in Waddle! Quack!

Monday, 31 December 2007

Happy New Year, dudes! Yeah! 2008 here we come!

I had a cool time at East Coast Park.

You know:

1. Cycling in the rain ALONE at around 18:05 (i separated from the group cuz i needed the toilet)

2. Getting all soaked to the bones, returning our bikes 1 hour earlier at 18:30 (okay, this part wasn't so cool)

3. The guy miscalculating the number of bikes that we returned so I had to get my EZ-link card late (and neither is this part)

4. Freezing in MacDonalds, eating an upsized Fillet-O-Fish plus an extra burger (also Fillet-O-Fish) all by myself

5. Stinking like someone set off a stink bomb in my clothes

6. My new book (Maximum Ride: School's Out Forever) getting wet

7. And finally bathing in hot water

Actually, no. 2-6 wasn't cool at all.

Anyway, I hadn't cycled in 3 years, and suddenly, I had to cycle in the rain on slippery road?

So I cycled briskly for 15 minutes, then turned back, cycled 2 minutes, and had to race all the way back to MacDonalds in less than 10 minutes. IN THE RAIN.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm watching Danny Phantom now on my computer, recently, I acquired 29 episodes! Oh yeah!

Playing D-Stabilized

Danny Phantom rocks!

Back.

I came back from BeiJing a few days ago.

Didn't get anything for anyone. Sorry!

It was downright freezing and I vow never to complain about Singapore's climate ever again.

The great wall was boring. Climbed past 3 of those tower things and then I felt warm. Not sweating. A very nice feeling you get after exercising in very cold weather.

You know their English is real terrible?

I'll give you a few notices I saw:

`Careful Hit Head

`小心地滑 got translated into:
Beware of Landslide

`This is the venue where people are gathered after being scattered in the Orientabay International Hotel
(They needn't use words of that level of meaning. It makes it sound stupid. And they spelt their hotel name wrongly. It's supposed to be Orientalbay International Hotel. They missed the 'l'.)

These are a few. I have more in the photographs my brother has taken.

Seriously, their college English is equal to our P6! Well, at least to us, you know, GE kids.

I DO NOT BELIEVE THIS

Okay, yesterday, I was minding my own business in my new church (cuz' I couldn't go for the Youth group in my previous one due to full schedule), when I found out that Darren (the one and only *rolls eyes*) was in the same church as I am now. Ya know, Trinity Christian Centre.

And I'm almost totally freaked out.

I was never expecting anyone I knew to be there. Let alone Darren, of all people. But hey, he came in handy when I didn't know who Sister Jeann was. I just shoved the paper into his hands and went off with my brother.

Oh, I forgot, and I said 'Thanks'. See? I mind my manners.

*Smiles brightly*

I'm a bit nutty today, and probably for the next few months or so

I just got introduced to 'American Dragon: Jake Long' last Monday and it was so cool! I mean, I like 'Danny Phantom' too, but I can hardly find any of the episodes on VeohTV (which I downloaded so I could download 'Ultimate Enemy' [one of the 'Danny Phantom' episodes]. Do I make any sense to you?)

ADJL is a show about this boy who found out he's the American Dragon when he's 13. His name is Jake Long (龙). His grandpa, Lao Shi (老师), is his Dragon Master, much to the dislike of the Dragon Council. So Jake is supposed to keep America safe from magical creatures.

Disney cancelled 'American Dragon' so there's no 3rd season, just like Nickelodean cancelled 'Danny Phantom' so there's no 4th season. Why are all the good shows cancelled?

Anyway, for Am Drag, I found the episodes all the way from 'Old School Training' to 'The Long Weekend'. I couldn't find anymore of the 1st season.

For the 2nd season, I found 'Love Cruise', 'Year of the Jake', 'Siren Says', 'Shaggy Frog', and 'Hong Kong Longs'. Couldn't find anymore.

I tried all the shortcuts, like 'Am Drag', 'ADJL', 'American Dragon' (this one's not really a shortcut, just chipping out the 'Jake Long' part) and stuff like that.

And you know there's a wrestler called 'American Dragon'? Well, that's his wrestling name, but still. Maybe his real name is Jake Long! Ha ha!

Anyway, here's some pictures of the characters.

Jake's Grandfather and Dragon Master: Lao Shi

Jake's Father: Jonathan Long

I did this drawing, and I hope you like it.

FLY

I hope you like it. It's called 'Fly'. That's right, I'm going bonkers. I'm naming a work of art (not).

It's copyright.

You want it, just copy it, but stick in a 'disclaimer'.

Friday, 16 November 2007

hi there!

it's been a really long time since i last posted.

last sunday (11/11/2007):
I went to a new church for the second time. Second time as in I'm going to that church for the second time. The church is called Trinity Christian Centre @ Paya Labar (I think that's how it's spelt). My parents made me go to Ignyte (yes, it's spelt correctly) which is a session for 13-19 year olds. Honestly, bossy people. And for the first time in my life, I cried during praise and worship. It might have been the holy spirit.

today (16/11/2007):
last day of school! I've been looking forward to this day since 3 years ago when I was condemned to the GEP.

future; next thursday (22/11/2007):
argh! PSLE results!!! So that day I'll see whether I'll get 300 bucks or not...

far future; one month from now (16/12/2007):
i'm going to BeiJing! See ya!

far far future (21/12/2007):
i think this is when I need to go to RG (if I ever get in) for something. But I'll still be in BeiJing...

far far far future (22/12/2007):
i think this is when my trip to BeiJing ends. Ooh! I love aeroplane rides! They're the best part of going overseas, especially if the journey is very long!

far far far far future (25/12/2007):
CHRISTMAS!!! Merry Christmas! I hope I get lots of books for Xmas! I hope I get 'Twilight', 'New Moon', 'Eclipse', 'Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment', and 'Maximum Ride: School's Out Forever'! Well, I probably won't get 'em. I'll have to buy them myself.

Anyway, I bought my brother's and sister's Xmas present already. I just hope they like it.

far far far far far future (31/12/2007):
count down...

far far far far far far future (01/01/2008):
it's weird to type 2008 instead of 2007. But anyway, happy New Year in advance!

Saturday, 3 November 2007

I'm sorry God!

seriously, I'm sorry, God.

i did not say 'Oh, my God' (that's blesphemy), but I said the 'f' word. oh shit. 3rd time this year. first 2 times was because i was singing to a song with the 'f' word.

i was playing Uno with AnYan, Vera, YT, and WeiTing (I think) and I did something that was a disadvantage to Vera, and I heard her say something which sounded like 'f*** you.'

then i said, 'don't f*** me, lah.' even before my head had comprehended a single thing.

turns out Vera just said, 'frikin' you.' crap, right?

so i when i went home i deleted all the linkin park songs which has the 'f' word in them from my playlist, so when i played the list, i won't hear songs with the 'f' word. there were 3 songs.

i broke my no. 1 principle: not to say the 'f' word.

'oh shit' and 'crap' pretty much sums it up although they're humongous understatements.

i'm bored stiff

k, so i'm bored stiff
doesn't take a genius 2 work that out

and i'm gonna admit that going 2 school is better than going to JC (check out my posts from the prehistoric times if u dunno what it means)

in jc, it's a/c (air-con) all day and i think i'm gonna be frozen desert soon if i stay there any longer
i'm still wondering why i haven't aquired a nice new layer of fats yet after spending about 17 h 30 min there a week when there's school and 60 h there a week when it's the school hols

honestly, i'm not looking forward 2 the hols much. only christmas

but lucky me, as of December 2007, i'm nvr going back 2 there again!

i wonder if any of u r all jittery about the PSLE results? my mum is...
anyway, these r some stuff i did over the week.

Faces!!!

Beast Boy

Clown

Count Dracula

Patchwork Monster

Light Up the Sky; The Great Escape: these are the new songs i like

Light Up the Sky - Yellow card

i noe the video is a bit nuts, but i heard it over the radio and decided it was nice so i went to find the name and band of the song. you gotta admit, Ryan Key (vocals, guitar) in this single looks a lot like chester (Linkin Park's lead vocals) when he (chester) got featured in 'In the End'.

anyway, it was a genius song

The Great Escape - Boys Like Girls

again, i heard it over the radio.

i'm not sure if u want to bother to listen to them, but one thing for sure, if you're a Linkin Park fan, you'd probably end up liking 'Light Up the Sky'. Yellow card is a pop punk/alternative rock band, Linkin Park is an alternative rock/nu-metal/rapcore/alternative metal band.

happy watching/listening! =)

oh yeah, have i mentioned that at church today i lost one out of three of my father's PDAs? the one with the sudoku and S$40 online bible program. somehow, i don't feel very guilty...

complete makeover!

as you can see (if you're even there), i've changed my blog picture, colour scheme and cbox, which is almost considered as a complete makeover for the blog.

Picture: i did it myself, so don't scream or anything if you hate it. i did it using microsoft paint. got bored, looked at the Maximum Ride book, got reminded of my favourite colours and a song (to be more specific, 'The Kill') and POOF! i got the picture AND the words in it.

colour: Fave colours. Black and Red. Thing got spoilt before i could change THIS text colour. dunno what happened. something to do with 'error on page', which means that the page was errorred. wait, is there such a word?

cbox: Just changed it to fix the colour, and no ones gonna miss it anyway.

one question, why am i talking to mid-air? Am i rambling?

60th post!!!

This is getting boring. I mean, like, nobody ever comes so nobody ever reads. ;P

This is my 60th post on this blog.

I wanna change the template but I dunno how.

Blogger NEVER accepts any blogskins I took from blogskins.com.

And I dunno HTML code.

So there.

I WANNA DO SOMETHING TO MY BLOG SKIN!!!

Science:

Yet to see...

There, now you have my exam in a few words and sentences. =)

THis is somEtHing rEaLLy fuNNy I fOunD on ThE neT

------------------------------
This is funny! My father looked at me weirdly when I was reading this, cause I was laughing like mad =)
--------------------------------
Some examples of why the human race has probably evolved as far as possible. These are actual instruction labels on consumer goods...

On Sears hairdryer:
Do not use while sleeping.
(Gee, that's the only time I have to work on my hair!)

On a bag of Fritos:
You could be a winner! No purchase necessary. Details inside.
(The shoplifter special!)

On a bar of Dial soap:
Directions: Use like regular soap.
(and that would be how?)

On some Swann frozen dinners:
Serving suggestion: Defrost.
(But it's 'just' a suggestion!)

On Tesco's Tiramisu dessert:
(printed on bottom of the box)Do not turn upside down.
(Too late! you lose!)

On Marks & Spencer Bread Pudding:
Product will be hot after heating.
(Are you sure? Let's experiment.)

On packaging for a Rowenta iron:
Do not iron clothes on body.
(But wouldn't that save more time?)(Whose body?)

On Boot's Children's cough medicine:
Do not drive car or operate machinery.
(We could do a lot to reduce the construction accidents if we just kept those 5 year olds off those fork lifts.)

On Nytol sleep aid:
Warning: may cause drowsiness.
(One would hope!)

On a Korean kitchen knife:
Warning: keep out of children.
(hmm...something must have gotten lost in the translation...)

On a string of Christmas lights:
For indoor or outdoor use only.
(As opposed to use in outer space.)

On a food processor:
Not to be used for the other use.
(Now I'm curious.)

On Sainsbury's peanuts:
Warning: contains nuts.
(but no peas?)

On an American Airlines packet of nuts:Instructions:
open packet, eat nuts.
(somebody got paid big bucks to write this one...)

On a Swedish chainsaw:
Do not attempt to stop chain with your hands.
(Raise your hand if you've tried this...)

On a child's Superman costume:
Wearing of this garment does not enable you to fly.
(Oh go ahead! That's right, destroy a universal childhood belief.)
---------------------------------------
And this is another one
----------------------------------------
You know you live in 2007 when...

1.) You accidentaly enter your password on a microwave.

2.) You haven't played solitare with real cards for years.

3.) The reason for not staying in touch with your friends is they dont have a screenname or myspace.

4.) You'd rather look all over the house for the remote instead of just pushing the buttons on the TV.

6.) Your boss doesn;t even have the ability to do your job.

7.) As you read this list you keep nodding and smiling.

8.) As you read this list you think about sending it to all your friends.

9.) And you were too busy to notice number 5 isn't there.

10.) You scrolled back up to see if there was a number 5.

11.) Now you are laughing at yourself stupidly.

12.) Put this in your profile if you fell for that, and you know you did
------------------------------
And finally for all the Harry Potter nutters out there...
--------------------------------
Things to Remember at Hogwarts:

I will stop referring to showering as “Giving Moaning Myrtle an eyeful”

Polishing my wand is acceptable in the common room. “Polishing my wand” is not.

If a classmate falls asleep in the common room, I will not take advantage of that fact and draw the Dark Mark on their arm

Starting a betting pool on the fate of this year’s Defense against the Dark Arts teacher is tasteless and tacky, not a clever money making concept.

Seamus Finnegan is not “after me Lucky Charms”

I am allowed to have a toad, rat, cat or owl. I am not allowed to have a reticulated python, snow leopard, Tasmanian devil or piranha.

I do not weigh the same as a duck.

Remus Lupin does not wear a flea collar.

I will not ask Dumbledore to show me the pointy hat trick.

Professor Flitwick’s first name is not Yoda.

It is generally accepted that cats and dragons cannot interbreed and I should not attempt to disprove this theory no matter how wicked the result would be.

I will not impersonate the Emeril in Potions class

Novelty or holiday-themed ties are not to be worn with my school uniform.

I will not put books of muggle fairy tales in the history section of the library.

I will not dress up in a Dementor suit and use a dustbuster on Harry’s lips to get him to do what I want.

I will not refer to the Accio charm as “The force”

Calling the Ghostbusters is a cruel joke to play on the resident ghosts and poltergeists

If asked in class in class what the Avada Kedavra curse does, yelling “It does DEATH!!!” may be correct but it is not the matter in which one should answer.

Ravenclaws do not find a sign saying “The library is closed for an indefinite time period” amusing in any sense.

A time turner is not a time capacitator, and therefore I should not install one in any muggle cars.
I am not allowed to use silencing charms on my Professors

If the thought of a spell makes me giggle for longer then 15 seconds I am to assume I am not allowed to use it.

I will not follow potion instructions in reverse order just to see what happens

I will not claim there is a prequel to Hogwarts; A History that explains about Bilbo Baggins.

I am not allowed to introduce Peeves to paintball

I will not cast the occasional Obliviate charm on Dumbledore even if it would be amusing.

I will not lock Gryffindors and Slytheryns in a room together and take bets on which house will come out alive.

I will not give Hagrid Pokemon cards and convince him they are real animals.

I will not sing the Badger Song during Hufflepuff-Slytheryn quidditch matches.

Bringing fortune cookies to Divination does not count as extra credit.

I will never ask Harry if his scar senses are tingling.

I will not sing the entire Multiplication Rock series during Arithmancy.

I will not charm the suits of armor to sing “Knights of the Round Table” at the Christmas feast.

I am not allowed to make light saber sounds with my wand

I will not dress as Voldemort for Halloween

I will not scare the Arithmancy students with my Calculus book.

I will not sing “we’re off to see the wizard” when sent to the headmasters office.

I will not tell Sir Cadogan that the knights who say Ni have challenged him to a duel and then students yell Ni from various directions.
---------------------------------
Another one!

15 Things to do when your in Walmart!

1. Set all the alarm clocks in Housewares to go off at 5-minute intervals.

2. Make a trail of tomato juice on the floor leading to the rest rooms.

3. Walk up to an employee and tell him/her in an official tone," 'Code 3' in housewares"... and see what happens.

4. Go the Service Desk and ask to put a bag of M&M's on lay away.

5. Move a 'CAUTION - WET FLOOR' sign to a carpeted area.

6. Set up a tent in the camping department and tell other shoppers you'll invite them in if they'll bring pillows from the bedding department.

15.Grap alot of bouncy balls and throw them down the aisle, shouting "Go, Pikachu, Go"

Er, long time no post ;)

Sorry (well I think you prefered without me anyway) for not blogging for a million years.

Life's just nothing to blog about

Just now me, my sis and my father go with my mother to the airport to send her off. She's going to San Fransisco. For work. Before that, my father brought us to the McDonalds in terminal 2 and bought himself, me and my sis the 50 cent ice-cream (which now costs 60 cents). Lol, but I was last to finish it.

Shortest post eva!

whee! life sux...

yes, i know 'whee' and 'life sux' don't go together, but then, how else can i sum up my totally uneventful day?

maybe you could gimme some tips or pointers...
for example:

1)keep the kopitiam empty so i can pick up my incoming calls...
2)get my mother to READ the time table for sup classes...
3)give life a complete makeover (actually, i seriously doubt you'd be able to do this)

so, on to my life story. well, it happened like this...
(drifts off into dreamland with a dizzy lopsided smile on face)

"today we did some boring maths paper, but before that we had chinese where we went through practice paper 7. damn fun (i thought i'd never say that, i'm a damn hypocrite [wow, vocab sure improved...])

"then i walked to a nearby (well, not so nearby, its a 15 minute walk from school) kopitiam for lunch and guess what? o joy, there was no place to sit. i had to end up squeezing between a chair and a table just to enjoy my lunch of duck rice...

"when i was at the entrance of my before after school care (well, let's call it 'jc' for the time being, that's the initials of the name) i realized that my phone was ringing. it was my mother. she said that she thought (here's where tip/pointer 2 comes in) that sup class ends at 13:00 so she had bought chicken chop (o man...i'm drooling) for lunch for my bro (who's at home), me and herself. damn damn damn damn. and she said that she had called a few times already. (here's where tip/pointer 1 comes in) i wished that that kopitiam wasn't so noisy and that i wasn't so intent on eating my food... ahh, the delicious duck rice!!!"

so, there's my story.

oh my goodness. evilness. whatever. it's already 22:30! umm, which i guess isn't very late.

i'm sitting here keeping my fingers busy with typing (though I probably wouldn't be by the time you read this, IF you read this) while sticking my ear plugs into my (what else?) ears, without any sound coming from it cause I just like it there (gosh, i'm turning out to be a nut!) and subconsiously listening to the fan hum at the speed it's going (which is probably faster than my sprinting speed by like...ten folds?) which i find pretty comforting AND i'm supposed to be listening to it only SUBconsciously.

i find comfort in staring at the bottle of water babies (although another alternative name is:我的baby, which i find pretty sick) and i don't even know why.

my day sux... (this is where tip/pointer 3 comes in)

Popular's latest update.

Thx to me and my family, Popular is now 107 bucks richer. It's so easy to earn money when you're working in some famous stationary/book store.

But thx to me and my family again, popular is now...
-3 correction tapes and their refills
-1 box of correction tape refills
-1 file
-4 books
-and a few more things that I can't remember

poorer.

So let's just say that my family gained 107 bucks worth of stuff but lost 107 bucks worth of tangible money.

I am proud to say that 3 out of the 4 books are mine!!! Mua ha ha ha ha!

Hey girls from normal chinese class? Remember when I said the deal that my mother made me? Well, now I'm 50 bucks richer in terms of market stuff than money. I have kindly donated all of it to Popular in the process of buying all the 3 books. You see now that I have such a big heart? (lol. I hope that my chest ain't bursting).

From about 15:00 on 2nd September, I am the proud owner of...
-Maximum Ride Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports (that's a hard cover book, cost me half my budget, and it's the 3rd of it's series)
-Grim Tuesday (I got Mister Monday already, if you're wondering)
-The Starlight conspiracy (that's the 3rd book of a series...and I don't have the first 2 books, and I haven't read the first two books either)
-1 correction tape
-1 correction tape refill and about a third of the box too
-Some knowledge skills on the layout of one of the Popular bookstore in TaoPaYo
(yo, ppl, I don't know how to spell that [pretty obvious that my knowledge on Singapore isn't too good])

Gosh, that Popular had the Maximum Ride School's out Forever in hard cover and paperback too! But my mother wouldn't let me buy those, seeing that I have already read them. Sigh. Hey, on the bright side, AnYan, you don't have to lend me the book Vera lent you anymore! Oh yeah, and I couldn't find Maximum Ride the Angel Experiment even though I had figuratively turned Popular topsy turvy in search for it.

Do you know that the Popular I went to only had like...um...2 book shelves of about the height of my eye for teenage fantasy books? And the book shelves were about, twice of my height in length? That's REALLY little. I had only about this little choice (writer of blog sticks out her thumb and index finger and makes a small distance between them of about a millimetre) of books.

Hey, AnYan, I saw the Diamond Brothers series but my mum wouldn't let me buy any of them because the thick ones were a tad bit too expensive (to me, that is, I've got a budget, you know! After getting Maximum Ride I had only like, 25 bucks left!) and the thin ones...well, she claims that I could finish them in about...lets say 3 hours. Wow mum. Sometimes you even surprise me. You overestimated me...sometimes I wished that she had said I could get 100 bucks instead of 50. Sigh.

So, my sister, who was not even SUPPOSED to be in Popular at ALL, tagged along and bought a book. Which costs as much as the Maximum ride book. Gosh, that was half my budget, and the book wasn't even a hard cover one! She. Is. Such. A. Little. (insert a profanity [that's a BAD, emphasize on BAD, word] of your choice here, and it has to be a noun). If it were cass, it'll probably be 'Sucker'. If it were me (and it IS me)...

It would be something so bad that your sensitive eyes wouldn't be able to take it, it's not the 'f' word, oh yes, but it's gonna be something worse (and someone's yet to invent such a word, probably me, prefably me). (At this point, someone should have noticed that the writer has some evil glint in her eye) Something out of this world! (Do you think I'm overreacting? Like I'm on valium or something? Because it certainly seems that I am, and 12 and a half years of pent up anger just comes flowing out like a sea on a dam. Oh damn. I don't want to be such a meatphoric person. Just checking, is there such a word as 'metaphoric'?
